Mr. Davoud Paryani was my first and only Afghan Taekwon-Do instructor. He started practicing the art of Taekwon-Do in (1980-1359) at Mr. Homayoun's Taekwon-Do Dojang and later joined Mr. Assadullah Oriakhel's Taekwon-Do school in (1981 - 1360). Mr. Paryani received his brown belt in (1983 - 1362). He taught at three locations in Kabul, Afghanistan including Mr. Oriakhel's school from (1983 - 1362) to (1987 - 1366). Mr. Paryani moved to Germany in (1988 - 1367). From (1989 - 1993), he was a member of Nidderau / Abt Freigricht Taekwon-Do. He competed in Internationale Deutsch Meisterschaft competition in (1990 - 1369) and placed third. He earned his first Dan Black Belt from Deutsche Taekwon-Do Union in (1991 - 1370).
